Responsibility in Practice
For WITZMAN, responsibility starts with taking ownership of how our bags are made. Since establishing our own factory in 2020, we have had closer oversight of stitching, zippers, assembly and quality checks under our own name.
We publish environmental or social claims only when they can be supported by current documentation. Where evidence is still being collected, we describe the work plainly instead of presenting an unverified promise.

Materials and Durability
Materials are selected according to the intended use of each bag, including weight, abrasion resistance, structure, care requirements and expected wear. Product pages should be used for the confirmed material specification of each model.
What we can stand behind today:
- Material names and care guidance are published by product.
- Construction details are reviewed through our own production and quality-control process.
- Unverified recycled-content, certification or carbon claims are not treated as established facts.
Manufacturing Responsibility
Operating our own factory gives us closer visibility into how each bag is assembled and checked. Our responsibility is practical: define the construction requirement, inspect the work and address problems rather than relying on broad quality language.
- Stitching, zipper installation and connection points are reviewed during production.
- Testing statements include parameters only when those parameters have been confirmed.
- Factory, worker and process imagery published by WITZMAN must be authentic and approved for public use.

We continue to review packaging and material documentation with our production team. Future updates to this page will distinguish between verified current practice, active improvement work and longer-term goals.
