How much extra room does the expansion zip provide?

The B771 expands from approximately 25L to 28L. Opening the expansion zip increases the depth from about 17.8 cm to 22.9 cm, giving you more room for documents or light overnight packing. Leave it closed when you do not need the additional space.

Will my laptop and tablet fit together?

There is padded storage for a laptop up to 15.6 inches and a separate compartment for a tablet up to 11 inches. Screen size alone does not determine fit: compare your device's width, height and thickness, including any case, before ordering.

Can this briefcase be used as cabin luggage?

Check your airline's allowance against the standard dimensions of 44.5 x 17.8 x 29.7 cm and your packed weight. Expansion increases the depth to approximately 22.9 cm. Cabin luggage and underseat personal-item rules differ, so neither acceptance nor underseat fit is guaranteed.

Which carrying option works best for a commute?

Is the nylon exterior waterproof?

No. The 2520D nylon has a water-resistant treatment for light rain and splashes, but water can enter through seams and zips. Protect electronics separately in wet weather. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry naturally.
